The ECSL Geotechnical Engineering team specialises in the design of foundations and substructures, from simple pads to those at the most demanding end of the spectrum, delivering designs from concept through to the production of construction drawings and foundations specifications.
Our team’s experience ranges across the broad spectrum of foundation solutions, including bored, driven and screw piles, pad foundations and geotextile solutions.
Our capability includes modelling soil-structure interactions using the finite element and finite difference methods, which provides a more comprehensive understanding of soil structure behaviour than conventional methods. These techniques are essential for major projects and in situations where soil conditions and structural types are unusual.
