We are ECSL, a collective of like-minded, innovative engineers. We share a belief that engineering design is not just a technical necessity, but is essential to creating a sustainable, socially responsible legacy.
ECSL started life in October 2019 with the ambition to take the vast amounts of innovation and experience from the UK rail industry and build a new railway network in Jordan. When COVID hit in March 2020, these plans were paused, but ECSL went on to grow throughout the lockdown period, delivering a wide variety of railway schemes in the UK, including 15 station upgrades in the London North East and London North West regions. Nearly 5 years later, ECSL now comprises of around 80 team members, providing a complete suite of multi-disciplinary design services spread between our offices in the UK, India and more recently the Republic of Ireland. During the course of our growth we have delivered over 400 projects, maintaining the core principals of Innovation, Sustainability and Social Responsibility to challenge the UK construction industry to deliver projects smarter, quicker and more cost efficiently. A secondary aim of ECSL since our inception has to be as self sufficient as possible, and in 2023 we created IES to provide our design teams with the site investigation, topographical survey and structures examination data we need in order to complete our designs. Being in control of our inputs adds an extra level of quality control to our turn key service provision.

The reporting is great, we know where we are with the plan and deliverables, they respond really quickly to things, and the CAD outputs have been really good. It is a pleasure working with ECSL on this task.
