ECSL’s Bridges & Structures Team have designed well over 100 bridges in the last 2 years. These have consisted of a range of spans, from 2.5m to 45m in the rail, highway and third sector environments.
Our design teams have used advanced analysis techniques to achieve the most efficient designs in steel, concrete, timber and Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP), working with our clients and other stakeholders to achieve the optimum solution for each project.
The ECSL team have been designing an extensive number of bridges from FRP, working with fabricators and materials suppliers to ensure we continue to push the limits of what is achievable. The team have also been working alongside National Highways and Network Rail to provide support in standardisation of FRP Bridge Design
