Britannia Bridge in Rhondda is a 4 span early steel former railway overbridge, which still carries live highway traffic. The bridge was formally assessed as being under-strength.
ECSL were tasked with re-assessing the bridge in more detail to determine if the previous assessment result could be improved based on additional information, which it was.
