About this Project

Network Rail are set to complete the biggest improvements to the Midland Main Line since it was built in 1870, meaning more seats, faster journeys and more reliable services for passengers travelling between the East Midlands and London.

ECSL’s involvement relates to the installation of new overhead line equipment between Bedford and Market Harborough, as well as improvements to station platforms and major work to upgrade bridges on the route

Roles and Responsibility

ECSL were appointed as designers for the OLE piled foundations, providing geotechnical design and consultancy services
