About this Project

Corporation Road bridge is an electrically-powered Sherzer rolling lift road bridge. Built in 1925 by Alfred C Gardner, Docks Engineer to London and North Eastern Railway, is a signficant local feature.

Roles and Responsibility

ECSL were responsible for undertaking inspection activities on an historic, Grade II lifting bridge in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, in order to determine required repair works.
