About this Project

A new higway alignment is proposed at the junction of the A47 and Cromwell Road, west of Wisbech. It was proposed that a new retaining wall is required to support a vehicle barrier on the northern carrigeway where there is a steep embankment.

Roles and Responsibility

ECSL were responsible for the design of a 110m retaining wall along a new highway alignment. The retaining wall incorporated a capping beam supporting a new vehicle barrier.
